Burgers & Brews 2017

Burgers & Brews Invitational returned for an exciting day at the horse races on August 12 at the Del Mar Racetrack!

Hosted by national event planner Vavi Inc. in a partnership with the BraveCort Foundation, this SOLD OUT premium beer and burger festival provided a fun-filled day showcasing the best of the best award-wining craft breweries alongside the top burger establishment in San Diego AND the BraveCort Masskrugstemmen!

Fifth Annual Stein Holding Contest

With purchase of admission, 4,000 attendees gained access to UNLIMITED samples of the world’s best craft brews, finest burgers and the Del Mar thoroughbred horse races! BraveCort hosted it's FIFTH masskrugstemmen (beer stein holding contest) with 75 individuals competing for prizes by hoisting a 1-liter stein in what turned out to be the focal point of the festival.

Winning Time 4:15!

Men and women competed head-to-head (or arm-to-arm) with the overall winner clocking in at just under 4:15 minutes.

Burgers & Brews raised $6,000 for the BraveCort Foundation, benefiting pediatric child cancer research.
